2. What are cookies?

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device, such as a computer, tablet or smartphone, when you visit a website. Among other things, they make it possible to remember preferences, recognise your browser on later visits, and analyse how a website is used.

Cookies can be:

  • session cookies - kept until you close your browser,

  • persistent cookies - kept for a set period or until you delete them,

  • first-party cookies - set by the domain of the website you are visiting,

  • third-party cookies - set by the domains of other providers.

Other browser storage mechanisms, such as localStorage, can serve similar purposes. This Policy also applies to such mechanisms.

  1. What we use cookies for

On the Website we use two categories of technology: strictly necessary mechanisms and optional analytics cookies.

3.1. Strictly necessary mechanisms
The Website uses Framer's Cookie Banner component, which shows information about cookies, lets you make a choice, and remembers it so the banner does not appear on every visit.
The mechanism that remembers your choice is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, so it does not require separate consent. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3.2. Analytics cookies - Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), an analytics service provided by Google. It helps us understand how visitors use the Website and improve it. In particular, we analyse:

  • the number of users and visits,

  • the most visited pages,

  • visit duration and interactions with the Website,

  • the sources from which users reach the Website,

  • general information about devices and browsers,

  • approximate location (country, city).

We use this information only for statistical analysis and to improve the Website. We do not use GA4 for remarketing or ad personalisation. Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off in our GA4 property.
GA4 runs only after you give your consent. Until then, and after you decline or withdraw consent, the GA4 script is not loaded, does not set or read cookies, and does not send data to Google.

3.3. Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager ("GTM"), a Google tool, to manage scripts on the Website. GTM itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies. It starts GA4 only after you give your consent.
The GTM script is downloaded from Google's servers every time you visit the Website, including before you make a choice on the banner. As a result, Google receives standard technical request data, such as your IP address and browser information.

4. List of cookies and other mechanisms

4. List of cookies and other mechanisms

The Framer entries are kept in your browser’s storage (localStorage), not as cookies, and are not sent to any server. Analytics cookies are set only after you consent to analytics. Their duration is renewed on each visit, and some browsers shorten how long they are kept.

5. Website hosting - Framer

5. Website hosting - Framer

The Website is built and hosted on the Framer platform, provided by Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Framer provides the infrastructure needed to display the Website and keep it fast and secure. To do so, it processes technical data such as IP addresses, device and browser information, and network request data. In this respect, Framer acts as a processor on our behalf.

We also use Framer's built-in analytics, which according to Framer's documentation uses no cookies or persistent identifiers and counts visits in aggregate form.

6. Legal basis

6. Legal basis

  • Analytics cookies (GA4) - storing and accessing information on your device is based on your prior consent, under Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej). Processing of personal data for analytics is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

  • The mechanism that remembers your banner choice - strictly necessary to provide the service you request and does not require consent. Where it involves processing personal data, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling your preferences (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

  • Website hosting and loading the GTM script - based on our legitimate interest in keeping the Website running and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Declining consent does not limit your access to the Website.

7. Consent and managing your preferences

7. Consent and managing your preferences

On your first visit, the Website shows a cookie banner that lets you:

  • accept analytics cookies,

  • reject analytics cookies.

Consent is voluntary. GA4 does not run until you click “Accept”.
You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Once you withdraw consent, GA4 stops running on the Website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal and does not automatically delete data already collected in GA4.

8. Managing cookies in your browser

8. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also manage cookies in your browser settings: delete stored cookies, block them, or limit their use. Instructions are available in the documentation for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge.

If you delete cookies, the banner will appear again and you will need to make your choice again.
