Deleting your Famigo account and data

You can delete your Famigo account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account in the app

1. Open the Famigo app and sign in.

2. Go to the Profile tab.

3. Open Settings.

4. Select Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Deleting your account without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, email kontakt@famigo.pl from the address associated with your account, with "Account deletion" in the subject line.

We complete these requests within 30 days as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently:

• your account and email address,

• your display name and profile picture,

• your password hash,

• all of your saved places (favourites),

• your account settings, including language preference.

What is retained, and for how long

• Analytics events - retained for 24 months from collection, with the link to your account removed. After deletion this data cannot be connected back to you.

• Server logs - retained for 90 days as part of routine technical operation and security.

• Data we are legally required to keep, or that is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, for the period those obligations require.

We do not store your location. Coordinates are used only to compute the answer to a nearby-places request and never reach our database.
